Do I need an appointment to visit an iMed Urgent Care facility?
No appointment is necessary at iMed Urgent Care. You are welcome to walk in at any of our locations without a referral. For added convenience, you can schedule a visit through our WellNow center or simply drop by when it suits you.
What are the typical wait times for patients?
Patients are typically seen within 10 minutes of registration and can expect to be treated and on their way home within approximately 30 minutes, depending on the volume of visitors and the nature of their condition.
What should I bring with me when I visit?
If using insurance, please bring your health insurance card, a valid photo ID, and a list of current prescriptions. Additionally, bring any secondary insurance details if applicable; we will handle the billing on your behalf. For self-pay patients, identification is sufficient.
Do you have X-rays or CT scans?
Currently, we do not offer X-ray or CT scan facilities on-site. For such diagnostic needs, we can refer you to a nearby imaging center and coordinate your care accordingly.
What conditions can iMed Urgent Care treat?
We treat non-life-threatening conditions such as sprains, strains, burns, lacerations, rashes, bronchitis, and pneumonia. We also provide point-of-care lab testing for rapid on-site diagnostics, enhancing our ability to serve you efficiently.
What are the self-pay rates?
Our self-pay options include:
- Standard visit: $75
- Virtual/Telemedicine visit: $75
- STD testing: $125
- Work Physicals: $55
These rates offer affordable care for those without insurance.
What constitutes a true emergency?
True emergencies include, but are not limited to: chest pain or heart attack symptoms lasting over two minutes, stroke symptoms (e.g., sudden numbness in limbs), severe breathlessness, uncontrollable bleeding, poisoning, life-threatening fractures, head injuries causing unconsciousness, unexplained confusion, loss of consciousness or senses, coughing/vomiting blood, high fever (104°F+ in children or any in infants under 6 months), and suicidal or homicidal thoughts. In such cases, call 911 without delay.
